How soon do effects of plaquenil take

Is it possible for it to work quicker in some people? I've heard it can take months, but I must say that I haven't felt like this since I was a kid - not achy or stiff.

It is important to take this medication exactly as prescribed by your doctor. If you miss a dose, take it as soon as possible and continue with your regular schedule. If it is within 12 hours of your next dose, skip the missed dose and continue with your regular dosing schedule. Do not take a double dose to make up for a missed one. Saturday was a week since I stopped taking Plaquenil, aka Hydroxychloroquine, per my doctor's instructions, and I think I am going through some form of withdrawal. I took the drug as a treatment for sarcoidosis and one of the side effects is a reduction in white blood cells, which is what has happened to me. Plaquenil I've read here the Plaquenil may take 4-6 months to take effect. For those who've been through it, what was the experience of "feeling better" like? Was it one day you got up and felt much more lively?

It takes anywhere from 4-6 months before the affects of Plaquenil are seen/felt. Has anyone had a similar experience with Plaquenil? - Sko Just an FYI- Plaquenil is NOT known to start working that fast.
